7th Annual Walk-A-Thon   

Fundraiser     

We are excited to invite our students to participate in the LARGEST FUNDRAISER OF THE YEAR at Glen Lake!      

We rely heavily on this opportunity to raise funds for our AMAZING GLEN LAKE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL.   

Students and staff LOVE this event!  

On Friday, October 4th, we will put on our walking shoes, our grade colors and raise money!      

Glen Lake Elementary students will walk out of the school and around the lower playground, and back up to the main entrance and show their Glen Lake pride!   

ALL GRADES walk between 12:40-3:15 pm 

2019 Walking Schedule: 

3^rd Grade: 12:40 pm 

Pre-K / K / Compass: 12:50 pm 

2^nd Grade: 1:05 pm 

6^th Grade: 1:25 pm 

5^th Grade: 1:40 pm 

1^st Grade: 2:00 pm 

4^th Grade: 2:15 pm 

Family and friends are invited to come out and cheer on the students!  

Don't forget to show your Glen Lake Pride by wearing your grade colors:  

Preschool: WHITE 

Kindergarten: PURPLE  

1^st Grade: RED  

2^nd Grade: ORANGE  

3^rd Grade: YELLOW  

4^th Grade: GREEN  

5^th Grade: BLUE  

6^th Grade: TIE-DYE   

At the completion of the walk, every student will be treated to a pizza party - donated by Domino's Pizza!   

This is the LARGEST fundraiser of the year! We appreciate all of our sponsors, donors, teachers, staff, volunteers, parents, families, and the community.   

Last year, we raised over $42,000 for our school!!!   

This money was used throughout the entire school! Some of the projects funded through this event are:

·        Meet & Greet BBQ 

·        School Patrols  

·        Turkey BINGO  

·        Classroom FLEX seating  

·        Carnival  

·        Kindergarten Round-up  

·        Field Trips

·        Spring Arts Festival  

·        Chess Club  

·        NEW Field Day 

·        Glen Lake PAWS PRIDE shirts for every student & staff

IF WE RAISE $25,000:  

 Mr. Radel will be sleeping in a tent on the roof of the school!  

IF WE RAISE $30,000:  

 Select teachers will sleep at the school!  

IF WE RAISE OVER $35,000:  

All school comfy clothes day and a party with DJ JAZZY JEFF!!!  

We also have additional prize levels!  Each student can earn up to 3 prizes and up to 5 raffle tickets based on the amount of money each student raises:   

$5 = 1 ticket  

$25 = 2 tickets + Glen Lake Water Bottle 

$50 = 3 tickets + Glen Lake Drawstring Backpack 

$100 and up = 5 tickets + Glen Lake Winter Hat

$200 AMAZON GIFT CARD or iPAD MINI
